Charlene offers two editing services:

Review: A review is a comprehensive reading of the manuscript with comments and suggestions for organization, story line, plot, character development, etc. The fee for this service is a flat $300.00 for up to 300 double-spaced pages. References available on request. Prefer electronic submission in Word. Terms and deadlines negotiated separately with signed contract.

Line editing: This includes all of the services of a review, but also includes any necessary rewriting, proofreading, grammar, syntax, context, vocabulary, punctuation, checking of bibliography, indexes, figures, appendexes, format, etc. This is intensive editing and is the type most appropriate for thesis, dissertations, journal articles, and the final stages of both fiction and non-fiction manuscripts. The fee for this service is $25.00 per hour. References are available on request. Prefer electronic submission in Word. Terms and deadlines negotiated separately with signed contract.
